Idaho Dance Theatre will have open auditions May 9, 2009 for both men and women.  Paid positions and unpaid apprenticeships are available.  Season contracts will be approximately 30 weeks.  The company rehearses about 16 hours a week and has 3 major concerts a season, as well as a school show performed in area schools throughout the season.  The company is a contemporary dance company.  Strong technique and performing skills are necessary.  

The audition will be an advanced ballet class followed by learning movement from the artistic directors.  It is advisable to bring a solo of your choosing to show the directors should they wish to see more.  Please bring a headshot and resume to the audition.  Please indicate your intention to attend by emailing mhansen@boisestate.edu or roweart@yahoo.com and include your resume.

There is no audition fee.
