Our 23rd season is  completed and what a fabulous season we have had!  Our final performance of the season featured live music by three different Boise Philharmonic ensembles and was well received by our audience members.  We were thrilled to be able to work with such talented musicians.

Idaho Dance Theatre is searching for one male dancer for the 2012-13 season. The contract is for approximately 30 weeks, 16-20 hours a week, with an additional 2-3 week contract for a tour following the last Boise performances. The season runs from the end of August to mid- May with 12 Boise concerts, educational outreach performances and touring. Video auditions are initially accepted but an in-person audition is preferred for those dancers that we are seriously considering. Dancers must have strong technique in ballet, modern, contemporary and partnering skills. Salary is based on skill and experience. The repertory is highly eclectic, challenging and contemporary. We are proud to be part of Boise's cultural scene, and we are equally proud of the role we have played in creating it. After 23 seasons, we still strive to bring the best in contemporary dance to the stage with challenging, athletic movement and innovative choreography.  We are proud to announce our newest venture  - our New Visions Choreograpy Competition.  It's our hope to present some new and exciting choreography for you each season, determined through a competition open to choreographers from throughout the US.   We are excited about presenting this opportunity to the Treasure Valley!
